In the world of fashion and design, the “made in Italy” tag is an indicator of particularly creative know-how. Italian designers fascinate and inspire the world through their cars, yachts, furniture, leather goods and fashion… and hair styling is no exception. Italians are well-known for taking pride in their appearance. As a result, in this 5th issue of our newsletter, we’ve chosen to take a closer look at Italy and Coloril, the George Group’s Italian subsidiary, and the Italian flair for creativity that shines through in their hair colour charts!
We meet one of Italy’s masters in the field of hair colouring, Alessandro Abei, the founder of the hugely creative Gogen Team and Gogen Academy. For this stylist and designer, “styling is about colour”, with colour going hand-in-hand with cuts to sculpt hair, as he explains in “Spotlight On: The Gogen Team Centre Stage”.
Creativity is absolutely essential, operating as indisputable added value in hair colour chart design. This fact emerged in the study we presented in January 2015 in our blog’s “Consumer and user expectations in hair colour charts” article: the research shows that users are looking for more appealing colour charts with a more glamorous feel in terms of design, materials, visuals and the swatches themselves.
“Ma che bella cartella colori…!” The George Group’s creativity knows no bounds, especially when integrated and lavishly applied by Coloril for the fertile Italian market. With the George Group, draw on the cosmopolitan talents of our design studios and our international database to transform your colouring ranges into global success stories!
